This policy explains what personal information Nexus Vend collects through nexusvend.com, why we collect it and what you can ask us to do with it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who we are
Nexus Vend provides fully managed automated retail machines to venues across the UK. We are the data controller for the information described here. You can contact us about anything in this policy at [email protected] or on 07835 666766.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through our website we collect the details you enter: your name, venue name, email address, phone number, approximate daily footfall and the machine you are interested in. If you email or call us directly, we keep that correspondence.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this website. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security and to keep the site running.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and assess whether a machine suits your venue.
- To prepare a proposal and, if you go ahead, to set up and manage the agreement with you.
- To follow up on your enquiry if we haven't heard back. We won't add you to marketing emails unless you ask us to.
Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Who we share it with
We never sell your information. We use a small number of service providers to run the website and handle enquiries:
- Formspree receives the website form and forwards it to our inbox.
- Hostinger hosts this website.
- Google provides our email, and serves the fonts used on this site.
Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on recognised safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or approved data transfer agreements.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry doesn't lead to an agreement, we delete your details within 24 months of our last contact. If you become a partner venue, we keep what we need for the length of the agreement and for as long as the law requires afterwards, typically six years for financial records.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.
Changes
If we change how we use your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
